Because I love you all so much, i’m letting you in on a deal I just experienced. To all you Sephora lovers out there, you know those sample sets of mascara that they sell? They usually sell for $38 but guess what…?? It’s on sale for $24. It left me confused why it’s so cheap so i’ve been trying to find the product on Sephoras website to see if all the mascaras suck that much? before I actually go ahead and start using and reviewing them. I cant find the exactly one but it’s close to this (not all the same mascaras) Regardless, this is still a pretty damn good deal! I might just got back and get another one! When I start using all of these I will start my reviews.

Hi beautiful people! Schools over for me and you know what that means!? More more makeup= more fun. hahah. I got to shoot my Miss Pretty/ do her makeup which I always have a pleasure doing because shes always down for anything! GUYS SHES SINGLE. holla holla! haha ;]. Anyways, Ill do an update post on this because I do not remember the names of the pigments I used. It was actually the first time i’ve used a handful of the pigments I have. She got to be the first ;]

So, this is just an update on the line (taken from temptalia). She so happened to have images on what I would consider the top products on my list! and she has swatches as well so check it out! I’m just posting this so it’ easier access for you kids. I know I’ve told you guys in the video below that the one eye shadow I love is BOUGH GRAY and I MEANT IT! I have used this eye shadow for 3 days straight! haha. Crazy me, I’m so hooked on it I am going to buy another one. It seems like everyone has the same view as me on the color : there really isnt one like it in the line. As for the lipstuff, i’ve started testing them out and i dont know how well some of you non makeup fiends would approach the Blooming Lovely lipstick with its pinkish purple hue (which is still a gorgeous color) but I say definitely get the Ever Hip one for a subtle look and the Perenial Highstyle lipglass for more intensity. I was also able to snag a photo of the nail laquer that I talked about in my video. DAMN that color is to die for! or at least for me! :)

It’s been so long since I’ve been on here. I apologize but then again I ALWAYS apologize and I never do anything about updating this thing. Hello BEAUTIFUL people! So, halloween has finally passed and this was my look for it. I know, I know… I didn’t go all out with my makeup but that’s okay. Honestly, I needed pencils which I did not have, in order to do what I wanted- there’s always next time. I did not use too many different products so to start off,

My inner lid has MACs Goldmine. And the black and red came from MACs mineralized eye shadow in Danger Zone. To highlight the brow bone I used MACs Femme Fi because I could not find my Nylon :(. What a sad story I know. I also used the MAKEUPFOREVER color case thats down below in one of the older entries for my lips and outlined the white in just a regular black eyeliner. In the picture you can’t really tell but I used the silver in the color case on my temples. All in all, I think it was pretty successful. :)

That’s right! MAC’s HOLIDAY COLLECTION is finally out! Sorry I didn’t post this up sooner. There are so many things in the collection it’s ridiculous. I think they’re pretty good deals. Obviously, with kits you save money thats why the holiday collections are great. I plan on probably purchasing some as gifts to people unless Sephora has some new kits. hah! Anyways, the collection ranges from pinks and purples to blues and neutral tones but purple is definitely the winner as the main color for the season. Now, I haven’t gone to a MAC store in a minute! (even though I did recently go to my CCO and found the Nordstrom line there. =)) but I do plan on taking a trip sometime soon to check it out. If anyone has any feedback on it definitely let me know!

Gooodiessss. Well, more like “goodies” in one “goody”. I purchased this palette or $95 and I am soooo excited to start using it. Its description says its very versatile. It can be used for anything and everything: lips, eyes, cheeks; anything goes! What’s great about this is that its like mixing paints (which I have been doing in my Color Workshop class at school). This palette contains you’re primary colors so the possibilities are ENDLESS. It’s said that every makeup artist should have this in their kit because it works in so many ways. We will see how good it is. I used the gold today as a base for my gold eyeshadow. I’m working on how to use it and blend it because it was hard for my to work with it at first. Once I start using more of it, i’ll give you guys a review on it. =)

There’s something about the crease cut look that really stands out to me. I guess the sharp line in the crease is what make’s it seem to just pop , rather than blending it together.

In terms of eyeshadow , since I always use the same eye liner (loreals liquid liner) and mascara (lashblast) the colors used were:

MAC’s
- eyeshadow in femme fi on the inner corner of the eye or was it.. nylon?
- eyeshadow in goldmine on lid first
- pigment in cocomotion on lid after
- cut the crease with an NYX eyepencil in Sapphire and to line underneath the eyes (also with any black eyeliner)
- eyeshadow deep truth on crease
- pigment in deep blue green on crease.
- eyeshadow in nylon on brow bone.

BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!

I just LOVE deals and I think Sephora gives the best deals out to their customers. They’ve had a number of products at such great prices that I could not help but blog about it. I’m sure many of you know about these deals but to those who don’t, this is for you.

So here we have a blush bronzer duo which is a classic. Its been raved about all over the place: from magazines to the television, I could not stop hearing about it. Many of you have probably heard it everywhere as well: Nars blush in Orgasm and bronzer in Laguna. The most universal colors out there. Supposedly it works on EVERYONE and if not everyone then most people. I’ve never tried it but I recently purchased it due to the great deal and cannot wait to use it. My classmate from Canada uses Laguna and tells me that everyone there has it. That definitely told me there was something special about this. The blush bronzer duo retails at $45 and the nail polish for $16. This set (which is for $35) would have orginally came out to $61! (Sephora said that it’s a $53 value but I guess they messed up on their math). You do that math on how much you save.
I urge you all to go out and purchase this, unless you’d like to wait for mine to come in so I could do a review on it to let you all know how it is. I dont know about you guys, but everytime I make a purchase from Sephora, I fall in love with the company more and more! <3

This is the first time I have posted a look up. This would have been up sooner but I had some computer issues. I’ve actually worn this look like 3 days in a row, knowing that I would not see these people past the day that they had seen me with these colors on. =). I LOVE it so much because the lime green and hot pink compliment each other so well and I happen to love hot pink!

You guys must be wondering “What did Ms. Monica use!?” (hopefully you guys are wondering that).

On my eyes: (All Mac)
-I put Nylon on the inner corner of my eye then used Sharp on my lid (I think Bitter would be great). I used the technakohl liner Colour Matters that came out in the Fall o9 collection to draw a line on a part of my crease to define it. Then I used Tempting above my crease and Dark Edges on my crease and used Nylon again on my brow bone.
- As for eyeliners, I used used some Covergirl eyeliner in obviously.. black and for my lashes, they are drug store brand, not really sure which one but I could find out. For my bottom lashes I always do a coast of Lash Blast and then MAC’s zoom lash to darken it. (hopefully its not a bad thing to do that!)

Lips: (MAC)
-Lipstick in Lickable.

Blush: (MAC)
- First used Fleur Power and put Springsheen over it.

Summer is coming to a close and athough I’m not looking foward to the end of it, I am looking foward to wearing the colors of the upcoming season! Looking through the Sephora catalog made me super excited to wear deep shades of plum colored lipstick so everyone, pull out your wallets and grab the color of the season! In terms of this picture… I think I must have stared at this the longest. I just LOVE the color of the eyeliner. It’s like a purple-blue. as I stared at it I was like “ah… definitely would have never thought of that one,” so I do plan on purchasing that color. In terms of nail color, it seems like matte colors are in- mosty deep, rich colors like deep blues and browns and purples (most muted colors, nothing too crazy). Looks like I have to say goodbye to my hot pink nails =(. All in all, I have a little shopping to do in the beauty section to prepare for Fall and I’m ready to let my makeup run wild since I’m finally in an art school. Oh the possibilities! They are endless being here and hopefully all of you guys wont let the location you are in stop you from coloring out the lines. Run wild, go crazy, be free and make a FASHION STATEMENT with MAKEUP! <3

Gills wedding was back in June but I havent gotten to put everything together until now. One thing I will work on as the year goes by is updating ONTIME or atleast things should be posted within a certain period of time. I had the pleasure of doing Mamma and Mamma-in-law which was interesting! It was a different texture to work with so it’s something to learn from :). Part 1 of MAC haul

I’ve been trying to get this video up for the longest time and realized it couldnt upload because it’s so long. Both videos are about 10 min in total so beware if you wanna watch! lol. I actually forgot about my 3 eye shadows I bought which is in the picture below. Its underneath my shadows for my palette but the colors are :

Sunset B, Top Hat, and Gulf stream. Very beautiful colors. ;]. Its alot more deeper than Aquadisiac (howevver you spell it) and I was actualyl wearing those two colors in this video =]. Anyways enjoy my haul. It doesnt look like much but im definitely broke.
